The 5th annual “Swithcfoot Bro am” was AWESOME!!!

First off I want to say that I have worked with alot of bands and the guys from Switchfoot really know how to give back..What I mean is they have taken the time to organize a special weekend of raising money for a program that is called “Stand up for kids” which is a national volunteer outreach nonprofit program that was founded in San Diego. The program is dedicated at making a difference in the lives of at risk and homeless kids..this years chapter for the donation money will go to the Oceanside chapter! Please support them and Switchfoot..Ok, well this was W.R.O.N.G.’s THIRD year at the bro am and this year we actually had some of our surf team surf in the event. Now remember we are only amateurs meaning most of our team kids are young and do not get paid to surf meaning..no pro’s but what ever we surfed against guys like Timmy Curran for example and even though we do sponsor Taylor Curran there is a little bit of a difference..ha ha. oh well we had Matty Parker and Tylor Curran drive down from Ventura and Oxnard. We also had our SD guys represent Dave Kincannon and Nick Olsen. They event was packed, the waves were fun ect..Do not want to forget to mention that Timmy Curran and Switchfoot played at the event and the crownd went nutz for them!!!!So thanks to all, Thanks to MAcbeth for helping us that day. Fuel TV VJ wears W.R.O.N.G. t-shirt on the Daily Habit & W.R.O.N.G. kids get to hang with Timmy Curran on the set at FUEL!

Guest Fuel VJ Chris Cote Was asked to host 4 episodes of the Daily Habit last week and one of the days he wore a W.R.O.N.G. T shirt. On the same day Timmy Curran was the guest and musical guest. W.R.O.N.G. Team riders Cole and Gage Clisby and Fisher and Ryder DeVoe got an awesome tour of the fuel studios and was able to hang on set of the hit Fuel tv show “The Daily Habit”. The boys were brought into the control room and able to also hang in the “green” room with host Chris Cote and Timmy Curran! Thanks Fuel! The episode airs on fuel June 10th at 6pm and 9pm west coast time and 11:30 am and 2:30 pm on the 11th..Also watch out for our W.R.O.N.G. commercial set to air on various episodes of New Pollution, Camp Woodward, and the Daily Habit as well!

W.R.O.N.G. Team Rider Zane Timpson is asked to be on Fox’s Fuel Channel show “The Daily Habit”!

Yesterday was a very cool day for W.R.O.N.G. skate team rider Zane Timpson! Zane was picked up from his home in Encinitas California by Limo and made the 2 hour trek up north to Los Angeles where he was a featured guest on the Hit talk show “The Daily Habit” which airs on Fuel TV a division of Fox. The Daily habit which is hosted by Pat Purnel is reaching it’s 900th taping and was super stoked to have Zane on the show along with Bucky Lasek and some dude from the tv show Office! Sorry I for got his name!! ha ha..Anyways, The Fuel crew loved Zane and assured us we will see more of this amazing skater on the channel to come. Remember, Zane was just recently featured on “New Pollution” which was hosted by Matt Beechum! YEAH ZANE!! The episode is due to air in mid MAy. Stay tuned for air date! Check www.fueltv.net

The 2nd Annual W.R.O.N.G./Macbeth “Hot Dog Jam” was a BLOW OUT!!!!

First off I want to thank all the parents for allowing their kids to compete in the 2nd annual Hot Dog Jam. We could not of done it with out you and the skaters!! So a Big thank you to you guys!!! Ok, where do I start, Well first of all we had over 100 skaters attend this years event which was over 30 more then last year so we are growing!! We had two divisions, Mini and street with age divisions 6-9, 10-12, 13-17. We had skaters drive from all over Southern California this year. Some kids from as far north as Ventura and Hollywood. We had legend skaters Pat Duffy and Matt Hensley MC the event to give the kids a special treat. We also had a band play at lunch time called Runner Runner. So as the kids were eating their free Hot Dogs and free Hansens soda they also got to Rock out! Tom Delonge from Blink 182 also showed up to check out the event as well! We want to thank all our sponsors again for helping out and donating prizes for the winners. W.R.O.N.G., Plan B, Macbeth, Nixon, GFH, Olliepop bubble gum, 187 pads, s- one helmets, Hoven eyewear, Hurricane Olympics, Silver trucks, saw Blade bearings, Transworld Skateboarding magazines, ADM, Hansens Soda, Mcgills Skate shop, and the Encinitas ymca…Ok, here are some photos from the event!!I will post the names of the finalists in a future e mail.
